香港珠海學院是一所有著深厚歷史底蘊之私立自資高等學院。校址位於香港屯門青山公路一帶，毗鄰北部都會區及深圳灣，地理位置優越。

學院溯源於1947年，由陳濟棠、江茂森等先生秉持著「培英育秀，化雨汪洋」，弘揚中華傳統文化之理念，於廣州創立其前身 --「珠海大學」。1949年，學院遷至香港，在過去70餘載歲月中，兢兢業業，為香港乃至世界培育了超過15,000名傑出人才。校友之中，有中國兩院院士、中央研究院院士，以及英、歐、美、加等國的院士，另有眾多知名企業家、文化名人和教育家等，可謂人才輩出。署理校長Interim President自2003年起，香港珠海學院屢獲香港學術及職業資歷評審局張珍（HKCAAVQ）的高度評價，順利通過院校評審及多項課程評審，目前已取得7個課程範圍評審（PAA）的資格。Jane Zhang學院現下設有三個分科學院，分別為文學與社會科學院、理工學院及商學院，並另設有黃廷方・信和一帶一路研究院。本科階段開設13個專業的學士學位課程，學術資源豐富。其中，建築學系的課程榮獲香港建築師學會及香港建築師註冊管理局的專業資格認證，與香港大學及香港中文大學的同類課程齊名；會計與銀行專業學系的課程亦得到香港會計師公會（HKICPA）及英國特許公認會計師公會（ACCA）的認可。此外，土木工程、新聞傳播、中國文學、金融與資訊管理等專業，皆以其悠久的傳統和良好的口碑聞名。

再者，學院提供19個碩士研究生課程，廣泛涵蓋國學、華南歷史文化、文化遺產、環球傳播、藝創科技及數碼傳播、應用佛學、建築學、工商管理、應用金融、土木工程，以及一帶一路國際工商管理和國際關係等多個學術領域。如此豐富多元的課程選擇，為學生提供了充分的機會，使其得以在多個領域探索、追尋自身的學術興趣和專業志向。

學院目前正邁入一個全新的發展里程碑。期望能立足於薈萃中西文化的香港，依托日益繁榮強盛的祖國，全力以赴，為社會培育更多兼具中國情懷、國際視野和社會責任感的優秀人才。學院矢志將自身發展成為一所文、理、商並重的應用型綜合私立大學 。

Hong Kong Chu Hai College is a private self-financing tertiary institution with profound historical heritage. Located along Castle Peak Road in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, it is adjacent to the Northern Metropolis and Shenzhen Bay, boasting a favorable geographical location.

The College traces its roots to 1947, when Mr. Chen Jitang, Mr. Jiang Maosen and other eminent figures founded its predecessor, "Chu Hai University," in Guangzhou. Guided by the philosophy of "Cultivating Talents and Spreading Beneficence" and dedicated to promoting traditional Chinese culture, it relocated to Hong Kong in 1949. Over 70 years, it has diligently nurtured over 15,000 outstanding talents for Hong Kong and the world, including fellows of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academia Sinica and other academies, as well as renowned entrepreneurs, cultural figures and educators.

Since 2003, the College has repeatedly won high recognition from the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). It has passed institutional and multiple programme accreditations, and now holds 7 Programme Area Accreditation (PAA) qualifications.

Currently, the College has three faculties: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Faculty of Business Administration, plus the Ng Teng Fong · Sino Group Belt and Road Research Institute. It offers 13 undergraduate programmes with abundant academic resources. Notably, its Architecture programmes (accredited by Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Architects Registration Board) are on par with those of the Hong Kong University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong; its Accounting and Banking programmes are recognized by HKICPA and UK's ACCA. Majors like Civil Engineering, Journalism and Communication, Chinese Literature, and Finance and Information Management also enjoy long traditions and good reputations.

Moreover, the College provides 19 postgraduate programmes covering fields such as Chinese Studies, South China Historical Culture, Cultural Heritage, Global Communication, Applied Buddhism, Architecture, Business Administration, Applied Finance, and Belt and Road International Business Administration. These diverse options enable students to pursue academic interests and professional goals across fields.

The College is now entering a new development milestone. It aims to base itself in Hong Kong (a hub of Chinese and Western cultures), rely on the increasingly prosperous motherland, and cultivate more outstanding talents with Chinese identity, international perspective and social responsibility. It is committed to becoming a private comprehensive application-oriented university with balanced focus on arts, sciences and business.

英國語文( 榮譽) 文學士課程，同時提供傳統人文學科和實用的傳意課程，前者包括英國 語文、英美文學、語言學、翻譯課程；後者則包括出版和編輯技巧、商業、媒體和工程 書寫的專業導向英語課程。學生更可修讀基礎外語課程。本校與多間海外大學合作，為 學生提供不同的交流計劃和活動。 The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Studies programme introduces you to the study of the English language, linguistics, literature, translation, and elements of Western civilisation. You will also learn to use English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in practical areas, such as publishing and editing, media communication, business and technical communication and more. 為了緊貼全球瞬息萬變的媒體環境，本系於2025年推出全新課程--傳播及數碼媒體（榮 譽）文學士學位課程。此課程旨在培養學生於內容創作與媒體製作方面的技能，包括影音 視頻的錄製與剪輯、平面設計，以及人工智能在媒體領域的應用；同時訓練學生在多元環 境中展現出有效的溝通技巧，包括公開演說、寫作及人際溝通；建立對媒體研究與傳播理 論的理解；把創意思維與解難技巧運用在媒體內容與項目的開發；並強調團隊合作精神及 專業操守在傳播與創意媒體行業中的重要性。 To keep ourselves abreast with the world's ever-changing media landscape, our Department has therefore launched for a new programme, the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication and Digital Media in 2025. The new programme is designed to develop technical skills in content creation and media production, including audio- visual recording andediting, graphic design, and web development; demonstrate effective communication skills in diverse settings, including public speaking, and interpersonal communication; develop an understanding of writing the theoretical approaches to media studies and communication; apply creative thinking and problem- solving techniques in the development of media content and projects; articulate the importance of teamwork spirit and professional ethics in the communication and creative media industry.

Internships企業實習

新聞及傳播學系為同學安排實習機會, 讓同學透過實踐, 早日了解行業運作和獲取寶貴實戰經驗。實習同學可獲安排在暑假期間, 到本地或海外機構實習。同學可按自己的能力和興趣，申請在傳媒、公關、製作等領域進行兩到三個月的實習。為我們提供本地實習職位的機構包括多家主流媒體, 例如政府新聞處、電視廣播有限公司、香港電台、Sony香港集團等。同學亦可申請前往海外實習, 過去分别有同學到加拿大的Fairchild電台、馬來西亞的華人周刊以及台灣多家媒體實習。

The Department offers internship opportunities to our students, allowing them to gain exposure to real-world projects and challenges. They will have the opportunity to work as interns at local or overseas organisations for two to three months during the summer holidays. Local mainstream media that offer us internship opportunities include the SAR Information Services Department, TVB, RTHK, and Sony (HK). Overseas media internship opportunities mainly come from Fairchild Radio (Toronto), Chinese Weekly (Malaysia), and several Taiwanese media organisations.

我在2024年獲得了由香港新聞教育基金、中央媒體協辦的北京媒體實習機會。在2024年6月至8月期間, 我在中國新聞社的中國新聞網實習,負責編譯國際新聞。過程中，嘗試了剪片、編譯。當我完成編譯工作後,導師會修改並指出錯誤的地方，讓我可以從錯誤中學習。另外，在編譯時也遇到了不少的問題，例如：新聞用詞的不同、説話的口音和語速。在北京實習期間, 身邊的同事都對我很親切，會教導我新聞編譯的技巧，並會耐心地跟我溝通，甚至向我介紹北京的美食，讓我更快地適應在北京的實習工作和生活。 謝旻恩TSE Man Yan

In 2024, I obtained a media internship opportunity in Beijing, co-organized by the Journalism Education Foundation and the Beijing Central Media Organization. From June to August 2024, I interned at ECNS.CN, part of China News Service, where I was responsible for translating international news. During the internship, I also explored video editing and translation work. After completing each translation, my supervisor would review and revise it, pointing out errors and helping me learn from my mistakes. In addition, I faced several challenges during the translation process, such as differences in news terminology, accents, and speaking speed. My colleagues in Beijing were very kind and supportive-they taught me news translation skills, communicated with me patiently, and even introduced me to local cuisine, which helped me adapt more quickly to both the internship and life in Beijing.

在2023年的暑假，我在新城電台實習。實習期間每天都有不同的採訪任務,工作量頗大。雖然辛苦，但能短時間内累積寫作及報道經驗, 記者的技能及知識迅速提升，可謂得益良多。過程中當然有做得不好的地方，但這也是從錯誤中學習的好機會。另外，我也學會了多向同事及行家虚心求教，令我的工作順利了很多。

In the summer of 2023, I interned at Metro Radio. During the internship, I was assigned different interview tasks each day, and the workload was quite heavy. Although it was busy, I gained a great deal of experience in writing and reporting within a short period, allowing me to quickly build up my skills and knowledge as a journalist. Of course, there were things I didn't do perfectly, but those moments also provided valuable opportunities to learn from my mistakes. In addition, I learned to humbly seek advice from colleagues and reporters from other news organisations, which helped make my work much smoother. 陳婉琪CHAN Yuen Kei

在2023年的6月到8月，我分别在香港政府新聞處的本地宣傳事務組及媒體研究組實習。首先，我在本地宣傳事務組期間蔘與了不少會議。在這些會議的過程中，我了解到表達自己觀點的技巧，先正面認可他人，再提個人的建議, 這様就能使對方更願意接受自已的觀點和建議。另外，我亦提醒自己要繼續深化專業知識, 這様更能提供準確而又有説服力的建議。在媒體研究組期間, 我需要將一些重要的新聞歸納。起初我很難掌握哪些内容能夠抛棄, 因此每一次全職同事幫我校對完後, 我都會接受他們的建戴欣兒議並進行調整，而與此同時, 我的寫作技巧亦隨之而提升。TAI Yan Yee

From June to August 2023, during my internship at the Local Promotion Sub-division and the Media Research Sub-division of the SAR Information Services Department, I gained valuable experience and developed a deep understanding of how a government-run communication agency coordinates with other government bodies to facilitate effective, positive, and accurate communication both locally and internationally. In the Local Promotion Sub-division, I participated in various meetings where I learned effective communication skills. I discovered that by acknowledging others' viewpoints before presenting my own understanding and suggestions, people were more receptive to my ideas. I also reminded myself of the importance of deepening my professional knowledge to provide accurate and persuasive recommendations during meetings. In the Media Research Sub- division, my main task was summarizing important news articles. Initially, I found it challenging to determine which content could be omitted. However, with guidance from experienced colleagues, I learned how to identify key information and eliminate unnecessary text. After each proofreading session with my supervisor, I quickly learned to make appropriate adjustments. This iterative process not only improved my ability to summarize news effectively but also enhanced my writing skills.

在2022/23學年畢業於傅播及跨媒體( 榮譽) 文學士學位課程 的廖嘉俊同學所執導的作品《哪個空間; 那個事件；哪個人》, 奪得2024年度第十一届微電影「創+ 作」支援計劃「最受歡迎微電影大獎」大奬，該計劃獲得香港特別行政區政府「創意香港」的資助，由香港互動市務商會舉辦。廖嘉俊同學在2024/25學年升讀了本系的創意產業應用科技文學碩士課程。

LIU Ka Chun, a 2023 graduate of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication and Crossmedia programme from the Department of Journalism and Communication, received the 11th Microfilm Production Support Scheme-Most Popular Microfilm Award" for his film Where? What? Who... The support scheme is organised by the Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing (AIM), with Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) as the lead sponsor. He then continued his studies with our Department in the Master of Arts in Innovative Applications for Creative Industries.

香港珠海學院新聞及傳播系一年級學生謝旻恩，拍攝的短片「饒宗颐文化館一日遊」,於2023年5月在内地媒體《南方周末》舉辦的「探寶覓踪一尋找灣區民間文化力量」短視頻徵集賽中，獲得優秀奬。

TSE Man Yan, a first-year student in the Department of Journalism and Communication at Hong Kong Chu Hai College, produced a short film titled A Day Tour of Jao Tsung-I Academy, which received an Honourable Mention in the 'Finding the Folk Museums in the Greater Bay Area' Short Video Solicitation Competition. The competition was jointly launched by Southern Metropolis Daily and the N Video App, and co-hosted by the Guangdong Folk Literature and Art Association.

新聞及傳播學系學生彭永曦拍攝的短片「疫The short video Fitness under the Pandemic, produced by PANG Wing Hei, a student in the Department of Journalism and Communication, was awarded third runner-up in the 2022 Campus Newspaper Award organized by China Daily Hong Kong Edition.流下健身」獲得《中國日報》主辦的2022「大學新聞奬」最佳新聞視頻季軍的榮譽, 内容主要是講述在疫情下健身教練如何營生。

本課程獲香港會計師公會(HKICPA), 英國特許公認會計師公會(ACCA) 及英國國際會計師公會(AIA) 認可，畢業生可參加HKICPA之專業資格課程(QP), 亦同時可獲得ACCA豁免八科考卷及AIA豁免九科考卷。考生在完成會計專業考試 及取得相關的工作經驗, 可正式申請成為認可之專業會計師。

The degree programme is recognised by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and the Association of International Accountants (AIA). Graduates of our programme are eligible to enroll in HKICPA's Qualification Programme (QP) and claim eight exemptions from examination papers of the ACCA Qualification and nine exemptions from examination papers of the AIA Qualification respectively. Candidates who have completed both the examination and the relevant practical experience requirements will earn professional accountant designation.
